HSBC Sterling Liquidity Fund
Fund objective
To provide investors with security of capital and daily liquidity together with an investment return which is comparable to normal sterling denominated money market interest rates.
Permitted investments
The fund may invest in certificates of deposit (CD), commercial paper, medium-term notes (MTNs), variable rate notes (VRNs), floating rate notes (FRNs), bankers acceptances, government bonds, treasury bills, Eurobonds, asset-backed securities and corporate bonds.
Credit rating
Short-term transferable securities which at the time of purchase have a credit rating of at least A-1/P-1 (or its equivalent) from a recognised credit rating agency such as Standard & Poor’s or Moody’s.
